House on a Slope
Zurich
2018-2020
The building from the 70’s is located above Lake Zurich. The integral renovation created a new dynamic in the building, which allows more light, flowing rooms and a generous sense of space. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows open up a wide view of the lake and blur the boundary between inside and outside.
The interventions are characterized by the high degree of detailed planning and care in execution. A classic reduced material palette was used for this purpose: Wall panels with rounded corners made of cherry wood, travertine flooring and Swiss pinewood in the spa area.
