The design concept for the new sports hall at St. Fidelis Gymnasium in Stans not only replaces the existing halls, but also takes up the historically evolved ensemble structure in its architecture and open space configuration. A holistic view of the outdoor space is brought back into focus, respectfully integrating the new building into the overall context. The design combines an open, pavilion-like expression in the exterior with a spacious interior. The result is a modern sports facility that also offers potential for future expansion.
