Sports Halls Sonnenhof
Oberuzwil
2025-
The new Sports Halls Sonnenhof in Oberuzwil blend harmoniously into the village outskirtsand and, with its gabled roof, references the rural building typologies of the surrounding area. it brings together two local clubs and creates an identity-forming landmark that fosters synergies and provides added value for the community. As an open, flexible space, the hall enables a wide range of uses for sports, culture, and social interaction. Clear structures, simple load-bearing systems, and strategically placed window and façade elements define the architectural expression. The open-space concept seamlessly integrates the project into the existing fabric and the landscape, creating a place for people to come together. Sustainable materials, optimized spatial efficiency, and minimal building services ensure long-term cost-effectiveness and high flexibility of use in the future.
