Philipp Gmür

Architect MSc ETH Arch.

Philipp gmuer

Philipp Gmür is an architect with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from ETH Zurich (2018–2024), complemented by an exchange semester at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He gained practical experience at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, where he contributed both to the realisation of an office complex and the renovation of a museum. His particular interest lies in the materiality and structure of architecture, with a focus on timber and other natural building materials. This is reflected in projects such as the temporary pavilion “Hayspace” in Winnipeg, as well as in his independent diploma thesis on steam-bent wood.
